Following his two year run of #1* Billboard charting projects “One Kiss” with Dua Lipa, “Promises” with Sam Smith and “Giant” with Rag’n’Bone Man, Calvin Harris returns under his retro-music moniker, Love Regenerator, and debut single “CP-1” that secures this week’s #1 Breakout on the Dance Club Songs chart.

Less than two weeks old, the Scottish deejay/producer/artist’s newest release takes a more 90’s dance floor approach than his prior pop star cameo offerings. Featuring a four-on-the-floor beat-heavy synth line, repetitive vocals and more, the Sony Music-released track leans toward the progressive or, even, Acid Techno vibe rather than anything one would expect from his former, main stage performances.

“CP-1” is one of two tandem titles (including the breakbeat styled “Hypnagogic”) released by Love Regenerator and listen to this week’s #1 Breakout here.
