Louis Tomlinson took to Instagram yesterday (February 26th) to tease his upcoming track with a mysterious video.

In a captionless and grainy clip posted to the social media platform, the former One Direction crooner’s tattooed hand is seen writing “It’s been a minute since I called you” as evocative piano swells in the background. The short visual provides little context other than hints at possible lyrics and backing production, which one may assume could come together for an emotional ballad of some sort.

Reportedly, the song will be released March 7th, and is expected to be the next single off Tomlinson’s upcoming debut solo album, following the releases of “Back To You,” his collaboration with Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals, and “Miss You” in 2017. Last Friday (February 22nd), news broke that Tomlinson signed a new deal with the recently relaunched Arista Records. He had previously been signed to Epic Records under Simon Cowell’s Syco label since 2017.
