Bonnaroo is looking a bit different this year as they shy away from jam bands and, instead, pack their lineup with more contemporary acts.
In its first year since Live Nation‘s talent buyer team took over the reigns, the June 12-14 Manchester, TN. festival will see Lizzo as the first woman to headline the long-running exhibition on Saturday to be headlined Friday night by Tool and Sunday night by Australian rock band Tame Impala. These moves represent a signature departure from 2019 when Phish opened and closed the festival at the Great Farm.
In addition to the fresh headliners, Run the Jewels and Megan Thee Stallion will be performing during the first night’s top tier, with DaBaby, Kevin Gates and Nelly (who is playing his 2000 album Country Grammar in full) on Saturday (June 13th), and Young Thug and SAINt JHN performing Sunday.
