Despite the lion’s share of live, in-person music venues remaining vacant during COVID, Live Nation is making the best of a challenging situation by repurposing their spaces for the good of America.

With this year’s Presidential Election one of the most important, hot topic issues of 2020, the event promoter / venue owner has offered up a number of their spaces to serve as polling places for Americans to cast their November 3 votes. This practical move will allow US citizens easy access while maintaining safe and sound social distancing practices.

Thus far, four major venues – including The Wiltern and Hollywood Palladium (Los Angeles) Emo’s (Austin) and Atlanta’s Buckhead Theatre – have made committed to the political initiative with Michael Rapino, President and CEO of Live Nation stating: “Core to what we do at Live Nation is helping amplify voices on stage around the world, and supporting voting is another important way we want to continue making voices heard,” “We’re honored to work with such incredible partners and will do everything in our power to support and empower voter engagement among our employees and the public.”
