At an event where Apple introduced the new Macbook Air, Mac Mini and iPad Pro, Lana Del Rey used her closing set to perform two emotional songs from her upcoming Interscope-released album Norman Fucking Rockwell.
Del Rey took the stage and said, “They told us not to swear, so I can’t tell you the name of the album,” then proceeded to perform the recently released “Venice Bitch” as well as the brand new “How to Disappear.” Jack Antonoff, the album’s producer, played piano during the moving performance as Lana delivered her signature dreamy, yet dark vocals.
The “Born to Die” singer offered heartfelt lyrics to “How to Disappear:” “He moves mountains and turns them to ground again/And I watch the guys getting high/As they fight for the things that they hold dear/To forget the things they fear/And this is how they disappear.” Watch footage of the performance below.
