In light of recent events, Lady Gaga has opted to push back the release of her highly-anticipated Chromatica album as the project that was originally slated for April 10th has been put on temporary hold.

“I wanted to tell you, that after a lot of deliberation, I’ve made the incredibly tough decision to postpone the release of Chromatica,” she wrote in an open letter to her listeners before continuing, “and while I believe art is one of the strongest things we have to provide joy and healing to each other during times like this, it just doesn’t feel right for me to release this album…. I will announce a new 2020 release date soon.”

The multi-Grammy winner didn’t dwell on the negative but, instead, focused on the good things to come, such as “a secret Coachella set lined up, and a lot of other fun surprises, some of which I’m still planning to share with all of you very soon!”

Chromatica will be the New York native’s sixth full length with “Stupid Love” already being available, courtesy of Interscope Records. Watch and listen below.
