The track, appearing on the New York native’s upcoming Chromatica album, is one of the most highly-anticipated of the collection and does not disappoint. Both songstresses speak on topics pertaining to persevering through hardship, healing, and finding beauty in the pain, heartbreak, and life via an amazing display of talent – both choreographed and vocalized.
Both Grande and Gaga find themselves in the video singing as they dance along with an accompanying troupe to a synth-heavy production. Appearing in a dystopian coliseum of sorts, the scenes unfold with each artist taking their turn at letting their feelings be heard. Before the end of the clip and after the rain stops, the friends and collaborators come together and dance their hearts out in celebration of their own empowerment and triumphs. Check out the visual for the Interscope Records-released “Rain On Me” here.
In addition to “Rain On Me,” Lady Gaga’s latest full-length (dropping on May 29th) will contain the previously-released single, “Stupid Love.” Featuring other high-level collaborations with Skrillex, Bloodpop, Axwell, Madeon, Tchami, Ariana Grande, BLACKPINK, and Elton John, Gaga’s album collection will play to a variety of musical tastes. Get ready for all the goodness within, to come soon.
