The story goes: both Kygo and Grande’s managers had been talking about a collaboration for a while. “No Tears Left to Cry” was released the day before his set at Coachella weekend two so Grande premiered the track live during the Norwegian DJ’s set the following night.

In the case of Ed Sheeran, Kygo discussed that it was his dream to work with the “Shape of You” singer but the two have not linked up yet. He said Sheeran is very busy and hard to contact, so it’ll all come down to timing. Hopefully the two can put something together for Kygo’s next album.
