Kesha‘s upcoming album is looking quite good based on the songs already released, which include “My Own Dance” and this week’s Billboard Dance Club Songs chart #23* Power Pick “Raising Hell.”

As the RCA Records-released song’s title suggests, the track is all about how boring life would be without a little trouble and mayhem. The 32-year-old showcases this theme by singing “Oh, if you couldn’t tell/ We can always find the trouble, we don’t need no help/ Singing oh, mama raised me well/ But I don’t wanna go to Heaven without raising hell.” The accompanying video featuring the “Tik Tok” vocalist herself further illustrates the point and can be seen here.

Since its release, this week’s #23* Power Pick song, created alongside Big Freedia, has received club culture support in the form of remixes submitted by The Wild that put a dance-oriented twist on the original “Raising Hell.” Kesha’s upcoming full length, High Road, is due out on January 10th through Kemosabe/RCA Records; the collection is available for pre-order now here.
