Last evening, Kendrick Lamar performed at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C. for a special one-off show backed by the National Symphony Orchestra. The orchestra added an incredible touch to Kendrick’s To Pimp a Butterfly set, which included tracks “King Kunta,” “Alright,” “These Walls,” and “i.” Video footage of each song can be seen below.
The Groove Sessions tour is a series of eight shows in eight intimate venues, featuring Jay Rock and The Wesley Theory (his backing band). Kendrick Lamar plays New York’s Barclay’s Center tomorrow night (October 22). Check out the dates here.
