Kendrick Lamar cannot get enough of Black Panther.

After helping to produce the soundtrack, to adding himself to every song on that soundtrack, he’s ready to kick it up a notch and play a character on-screen.

The Compton rapper explained in an interview with BBC Radio on Thursday (February 22nd) that he plans to appear in the next Black Panther film. He doesn’t mean just a little cameo, either. He wants to play the role of a super-villain on the level of Michael B. Jordan’s polarizing character Eric Killmonger. Kendrick shared that Killmonger was “loved and misunderstood,” and he’d go that route if given the choice.
