The tragic deaths of basketball superstar Kobe Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna on Sunday shocked the world and prompted a flood of tributes from devastated fans in Los Angeles and far beyond. Kanye West and Chance The Rapper took the time to pay their respects during the most recent Sunday Service.

The trio of Yeezy, Chance and Kirk Franklin sang “Ultralight Beam” from West’s album The Life Of Pablo, and the Sunday Service choir did a rendition of Journey’s “Don’t Stop Believing.” Video was captured on Kim Kardashian’s Instagram story, which can be seen here via Pitchfork.

This is not the first time Kanye has showed love to the deceased basketball player, as West expressed admiration for Bryant throughout his career. On the 2016 ScHoolboy Q song “THat Part,” he raps: “Walkin’, livin’ legend, man I feel like Kobe.” A month prior, West celebrated Bryant’s retirement from the NBA with a customized “I Feel Like Kobe” shirt.
