With Purpose now charting at No. 1 in 99 countries on iTunes, Justin Bieber has already proven the world he is back and better than ever. Today, he joined TODAY and spoke about his new album, recent struggles in the spotlight, and shared a personal reflection after the Paris attacks. “It was really hard for me,” noted the singer, who also posted a message of condolence on Twitter for Thomas Ayad (a member of his production team),  “We’d been working together for probably like four, five years. It’s just a sad thing.”

The TODAY plaza was filled with screaming “Beliebers” who sang word for word to “Sorry“, “What Do You Mean”, “No Pressure” with Big Sean, “Love Yourself”, and “The Feeling” with Hasley. Although it appears like the Biebs was struggling with audio problems, he trumped on and delivered a strong performance. Watch the highlights below.
