As part of Rolling Stone‘s recent installments of their “In My Room” series, which sees artists playing in the comfort of their own homes, John Fogerty took out his guitar to strum some classics.
Throughout the latest nine-minute clip, the Creedence Clearwater Revival front man takes listeners through a time machine by performing timeless hits such as “Have You Ever Seen the Rain”, “Bad Moon Rising”, and “Long As I Can See the Light,” for which Fogerty took to the piano, flanked by candles and a fireplace. For each song, the California native gives a little context, before playing the next.
“These are certainly different times that we’re living through,” he says. “Wash your hands … nobody really knows how long this is going to last, but the better we do at taking the advice of medical people, the shorter it will be.” Check out John Fogerty bringing joy to those who remain at home.
