Basketball legend Shaquille O’Neal made an appearance on The Tonight Show Monday night to do lip-sync battle with Jimmy Fallon.
Fallon kicked things off with the House of Pain’s dive bar classic “Jump Around,” but O’Neal proved to be stiff competition when he topped the host’s performance with his own rendition of Bobby Brown’s “My Prerogative.” Pitbull decided to crash the party as a special guest for Shaq’s set that totally caught Jimmy off guard.
“That’s not fair, that’s not fair,” Jimmy explained. “I got to up my game.” After a quick wardrobe change, the host did his best rendition of John Legend and Ariana Grande’s cover of “Beauty and the Beast.”
The two competitors made nice toward the end of the battle, as O’Neal forced Fallon to join him for a duet of Elton John and Kiki Dee’s 1967 hit “Don’t Go Breaking My Heart.” O’Neal, mouthing Dee’s lines, got affectionate with the host, giving him a peck on the cheek and a spanking him before lifting him into his arms.
