Jessie Reyez Teams Up With 6LACK On ‘Colbert’ For ‘Imported’: Watch

Jessie Reyez hit The Late Show stage to close out this week’s programming with a strong performance of the 6LACK-assisted “Imported.”

Carried by a comprehensive production provided by a live band, the two combined to create a hot rendition of the FMLY-released original. The Canada-meets-Atlanta duo traded off background vocals to power each other’s verses, before joining forces on the final chorus, facing each other and singing “‘Cause you’re in love with somebody else/Well, maybe I could offer some help/Get over them by getting under me/But you might OD if you get too much of me.”

“Imported” was originally released back in April and is expected to appear on the 28-year-old artist’s upcoming album, which remains without an official title or concrete release date. Buckle up for a rousing rendition of Jessie Reyez and 6LACK’s collaboration which can be found here.
