As part of this weekend’s mega-talented One World: Together At Home broadcast lineup in support of front line workers and the COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund, Jessie Reyez took to her guitar for an extraordinary edition of her song “COFFIN.”

Released as part of her newest album BEFORE LOVE CAME TO KILL US, the Island Records released single originally contained a verse from Eminem. Despite the Rap God’s inability to contribute to the live stream, the 28-year-old songstress let her vocals shine alongside her stringed instrument skills as she played from the comfort and safety of her home.

As if to reflect the feelings many are experiencing in self-isolation, Jessie performed the track beautifully, as she sang about the juxtaposition of being with someone who can simultaneously bring so much joy and so much pain. The piece was as captivating and emotional as it was hopeful during these uncertain times and watch Jessie’s performance of “COFFIN,” that followed her upbeat and thankful message.

The Canadian native was joined during the Lady Gaga-curated stream by fellow artists Camila Cabello, Céline Dion, Chris Martin, Jennifer Lopez, John Legend, Kacey Musgraves, Keith Urban and many more. And thanks to everyone who participated the collective effort garnered more that $50,000,000.00 in donations for the those in need.
