Simply put … Jennifer Lopez is on fire! After being chosen to rock this year’s Super Bowl Halftime show, her song “Baila Conmigo” (remixed by Eric Kupper) secures the #39* Hot Shot Debut position on the latest Billboard Dance Club Songs chart. And now she has been nominated for a Golden Globe.
It’s been more than two decades since the multi-hyphenate performer received a Golden Globe nomination as the first nod came in 1998 for the Best Performance by an Actress in a Motion Picture (Musical or Comedy) category for her role in Selena. And Lopez made history as, according to Variety, the stunningly beautiful, triple-threat entertainer became the first Latina actress to earn $1 million for a movie role.
This time around, the 50-year-old is nominated for her second Golden Globe Award in Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture category for her role in Hustlers. Her fans will have to watch the 2020 Golden Globe Awards on Sunday, January 5th, 2020 to see if she takes home the trophy.
