Jennifer Lopez completes her current diet and has challenges her fans to join in. Yesterday J.Lo called into the TODAY Show to explain what the challenge is, and why she and her husband, Alex Rodriguez, hosted by, are doing it.

“It’s no sugar, no carbs,” the singer/actress/dancer explained. “Anything that has sugar and carbs in it, you cannot have.” The inspiration behind the 10-day fare restriction is her own trainer: he told Lopez it would “reset” her body in order to get her, “on healthier carbs and healthier things that have sugar in them.” Following the diet, foods such as fruit are, “going to taste like an ice cream sundae.” To show off her current progress, The New York native took to Instagram; check out her post here.

Other than increasing sensitivity to sugars, the diet may cause some to lose weight in the process, which is just another positive for those who choose to partake in the growing movement.
