Gearing up for the annual Mad Decent Block Party, Diplo tapped actor James Van Der Beek to play him in a video promoting the tour. The actor, who’s most famous for starring in Dawson’s Creek, plays a satirized version of musician and narrates a day in the life of the “Where Are You Now” producer.

You won’t believe how much Diplo paid for this Hollywood Hills home

The video grows more and more ridiculous as we see Van Der Beek waking up to his personal harpist, greets a team of sound engineer elves, and does battle with a group of ninjas. You probably also won’t want to hear the word “fam” again for the rest of the day.
