Earlier this week Martin Garrix teased his joint single with Bebe Rexha entitled “In The Name Of Love”, and today the track officially hit digital retailers.
The dreamy collaboration kicks off with Rexha‘s sultry vocals layered with ambient sweeps and muted piano chords. 50 seconds in, Garrix navigates the booming future bass landscape – complete with vocal chops, head nodding synths, and a euphoric drop. It’s evident that Garrix’s production is tame and less aggressive this time around, with intentions of making the cut palatable for mainstream radio play.
“I’m super excited to be working with such a hungry and passionate team” Garrix said in a press release earlier this week. “Their forward thinking approach to streaming and incredible roster of talented artists combined with their passion and understanding for my vision of the future of my music made this a no brainer.”
