Alicia Keys now sits atop of the Billboard Dance Club Songs Chart with her hit single “In Common.”

The afro beat inspired track climbed to the top with the assist of remixes by today’s hottest producers including Black Coffee, Kenny Dope, Tedd Patterson and Groove Junkies and more. Stream Kenny Dope’s remix above.

The lead single for her tentative sixth studio album, “In Common” was released after more than four years in the recording studio. The track’s lyrical themes and heavy subject matter come from Keys’ own personal issues.

“We all have our issues, our challenges. We are all kind of messed up and that’s all right. In fact, that’s what helps us understand each other. To me, that is what’s so beautiful.”

“In Common” was released May 4 through RCA Records available on Apple Music.
