Imagine Dragons continue to ramp up the anticipation for their forthcoming Origins record with “Machine,” a powerful single about bravely living outside the box.

The drum-centric song opens with frontman Dan Reynolds singing, “All my life been sittin’ at the table/ Watching them kids; they’re living in a fable/ Looks, luck, money never left a’wishin’/ But now it’s about time to raise up and petition.” As the music swells, so does Reynolds’ voice until he admits, “I am the machine.”

The song’s artwork features a giant metallic head that’s been split in half, serving as a nod to Pink Floyd’s 1994 album Division Bell. Origins, the sister album to Imagine Dragons’ previous full-length release, Evolve arrives November 9th via Interscope Records. Check out the newly-dropped “Machine” below.
