Late Show fans were in for a surprise last night when Skrillex and Chance the Rapper made an appearance on Stephen Colbert’s monologue before their scheduled performance of the Hundred Waters single “Show Me Love,” where they remixed a few of the host’s jokes. While in the middle of his spiel, Colbert’s one-liner about breakfast cereal set off a “remix alert” prompting the two to jump on stage. While Skrillex provided the beat, the Acid Rapper himself freestyle’d a number of rhymes centered around “Tiny Toast.”

“Not a serial number/ Not serial like a killer/ Talkin’ a complete breakfast, pure tummy filler.” Check out the remix’d monologue below.

The DJ/producer and rapper then came back as musical guests, alongside indie band Hundred Waters, performing there virally successful remix of “Show Me Love.” Lead singer Nicole Miglis took the chorus and verses while Chance killed it on his guest spot, with Skrillex added to the atmosphere by providing ethereal guitar lines laced with delay and reverb. “That was beautiful, thank you so much,” Colbert added while thanking his guests.
