During the final stop on his live tour, Harry Styles had a touching moment with a fan and the greater queer community. Before launching into the One Direction hit “What Makes You Beautiful” Styles stopped the show to comment on a fan’s sign, reading it for the whole crowd to hear, and saying “It says, ‘I’m gay and I love you.’”

Styles then thanked the fan and said that he loved them as well, following up with, “I mean, we’re all a little bit gay, aren’t we?” – a statement met by uproarious applause from the Los Angeles crowd.

The former One Direction singer has been known as a big ally of the LGBTQ+ community for years, once helping a fan come out to her parents after reading a sign that said she wanted to do so, in the middle of a concert. Styles has also worn and waved LGBTQ+ pride flags at most of his tour stops this year, making it abundantly clear that he supports his queer fans.
