Halsey brought her latest hit, “Now or Never,” to The Tonight Show on Thursday, debuting the aching power ballad in front of two large “Make Peace” signs and a white Virgin Mary statue.
The track, which pivoted to No. 52 on the Hot 100 this week, is lifted off the singer’s forthcoming sophomore album Hopeless Fountain Kingdom. And for those who might not know Halsey beyond her feature on The Chainsmokers‘ “Closer,” the 22-year-old New Jersey native is destined for pop radio smashing success.
According to Rolling Stone, Halsey’s new LP features writing credits from Benny Blanco (Katy Perry, Ed Sheeran, Justin Bieber) and Greg Kurstin (Sia, Adele).
Halsey will hit the road this fall in a bill that also brings Charli XCX and PARTYNEXTDOOR to a series of arenas around the U.S. and Canada
