Flume recently achieved an impressive milestone for his 2016 production “Never Be Like You” featuring Kai, as the original song has now racked up over one billion streams globally (across all streaming services).

The award comes from APRA (Australasian Performing Right Association) and AMCOS’s (Australasian Mechanical Copyright Owners Society) The 1,000,000,000 List, held exclusively for Australian artists who accumulate over a billion streams on a single recording. Thus far, the club has only two other members — songwriter Nat Dunn for her part in Marshmello and Anne-Marie’s “Friends” and Dean Lewis for “Be Alright.”

“Flume’s songwriting and production has had a huge influence on how music sounds, and his success has opened the doors for his fellow Australian music creator,” APRA AMCOS chief executive Dean Ormston said. “Through his songs, he has connected to fans all over the world and we congratulate Harley on achieving a position on The 1,000,000,000 List.” Give the famed and Future Classic-released song a listen below.
