Amid the global pandemic, countless stores and restaurants have been forced to shut down and Florida Georgia Line is doing their part to pay it forward to the employees of their Nashville-based restaurant while temporarily closed.

The duo announced via Instagram that they will be giving each of their 117 employees $1,000, writing, “@fglhouse would be nothing without our amazing staff. We know it takes a village, and we’re so thankful for all 117 of you and we hope this helps out while the bar and restaurant is closed.” Florida Georgia Line also gave a shout-out to fellow artist Dierks Bentley, who also donated $1,000 to each employee at his franchise of Whiskey Row bars.

$1,000 is not a coincidental amount, as the U.S. Government has been looking into the idea of giving that much to each citizen in the country to help cover personal costs and maintain the economy during these trying times. Watch this space to see if more artists choose to help out-of-work employees.
