After hinting at his second release since his 2017 full-length, Ed Sheeran has unveiled “Cross Me” featuring Chance the Rapper and PnB Rock.

The Atlantic Records recording captures all three artists taking advantage of a breezy and tropical beat by reciting lyrics touting their strong relationships like, “And she ain’t messin’ with no other man/And me and her have something different/I really need all you to understand/That nobody’s comin’ close.”

PnB Rock holds down the bridge, making the statement: “Anything she needs, she can call me/Don’t worry about her, that’s my seed, yup, that’s all me/Just know, if you cross her, then you cross me.” Produced by Fred, who also worked on “I Don’t Care,” the new song dropped at midnight on streaming music services. The two already-revealed productions will appear along with 13 other tracks on Sheeran’s forthcoming all-star collaborative collection, due out July 12. That news dropped yesterday (May 23rd), accompanied by the project’s title No.6 Collaborations Project.
