Dua Lipa is aiming to create a modern, yet nostalgic collection of songs on her newest album, as she set the musical stage with her Disco-tinged “Don’t Start Now” followed by her latest creation “Future Nostalgia.”
Courtesy of Warner Music, the current offering and title track is another look at what’s to come. After making multiple references to the past and present, the UK native sings “I know you’re dying trying to figure me out/ My name’s on the tip of your tongue, keep running your mouth/ You want the recipe but can’t handle my sound.”
Dua’s vocals are supported by a musical production reminiscent of earlier eras, featuring bursts of sound, fat synths, robotic voices and more. The overall product is full of infectious energy and listen to the newest from the “New Rules” singer here.
