Dua Lipa‘s lead single, “Don’t Start Now,” off her second and upcoming album is here, and it’s everything fans wished for and much more.
The exciting, catchy and dancefloor-ready track coming courtesy of Warner Music is a sassy farewell message to her former flame, who she doesn’t miss. “I’m all good already/ So moved on, it’s scary/ I’m not where you left me at all,” she muses before leading up to the explosive hook, demanding “Don’t start caring about me now.” The production follows in the dance floor footsteps of her recent #1 Billboard dance charters “One Kiss” with Calvin Harris and “Electricity” with Silk City and “Don’t Start Now” is the Disco of the lot.
Back in April, the singer tweeted that she was working on her second album, and has been seen in the studio with Nile Rodgers and Pharrell Williams among other stars. “DL2,” as she and her fans affectionately call the highly-anticipated collection, as of yet have has no official title or release date.
