We’ve all heard of Oprah Winfrey‘s possible run for President in 2020, but is she for real?
Last week, Winfrey gave her most definitive statement to date: “I am not running for president of the United States.” In other recent appearances, she has said campaigning is “not for me” and it’s “not something that interests me.” But people and journalists are still skeptical.
Another reason why the idea is staying alive? President Trump is talking about it.
In an interview with 60 Minutes, Winfrey said, “I am actually humbled by the fact that people think that I could be a leader of the free world, but it’s just not in my spirit. It’s not in my DNA,” to which Donald Trump replied later on twitter:
Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!

No doubt, Trump is too concerned with the thoughts of others, and is turning on someone who he once claimed might be his running mate if he ever ran for President. Hopefully this will die out.
