Attendees at California’s HARD Summer festival this past weekend witnessed quite the event when treated to a rare back-to-back set from DJ Snake and Malaa.

As prominent figures in the music industry, their melding of minds created an experience that made fans stop dead in their tracks. It doesn’t get much better than hearing these two Frenchmen throw down, as each champions their own provocative soundscapes in expert fashion.

Their deep respect for all forms of house music rang throughout the entire set, but bass house took over much of the dark, gripping back and forth flow. Malaa’s own productions including “Notorious” and “Revolt” featuring Jacknife made appearances, plus his newly released “Enzo” remix for DJ Snake. Their “Made In France” anthem with the whole squad — DJ Snake, Tchami, Malaa and Mercer — also made its presence known. They finished off strong with the “Taki Taki” producer’s “Frequency 75” off his new album, Carte Blanche.

Listen to the massive team set from Malaa and DJ Snake that took place in the Pink Tent at HARD Summer below.
