With most, if not all, imminent tours and shows canceled around the world, Diplo is still trying to bring smiles to the faces of all dance music fans during this trying times.
The 41-year-old DJ/producer/artist recently announced streaming music sets that he plans to air throughout the entire quarantine period. On Tuesday night, Diplo paid homage to the legendary Hollertronix parties of his earlier career by doing a “Ronatronix” set comprised of the house music he’s been serving up as of late via his Higher Ground label, along with cuts from artists including Billie Eilish, Busta Rhymes, New Order and Enya.
The event was quite impromptu, back lit by candles and Christmas lights with a few friends talking in the background. At the end, Diplo notified viewers that he’d be presenting a new show every night for the foreseeable future, and to “Like and subscribe, wash your hands and stay 6 feet away from your friends.” Watch one of the live streams below.
