Zedd and Aloe Blacc recently collaborated for an M&M-sponsored remake of the Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory classic “The Candyman” to celebrate the candy’s 75-year anniversary (listen here). Many critiqued Zedd’s atypical production style on the tribute track and yesterday Diplo took to Twitter to publicly call out the “Clarity” producer.

On Monday (March 21) Diplo tweeted at Zedd, linking the M&M’s video that was released nearly a month ago, accusing him of ripping off Australian producer, Flume, and only taking the job for money. Zedd would later respond, calling Diplo “a jealous little bitch,” adding that he should “shut the fuck up.” Not satisfied, Diplo fired back, writing, “Your young and rich and a great musician.. Use that to your advantage.. Don’t be such a pompous cornball loser also I fucked your girl.” The two went back and forth and deadmau5 even got involved, shading Diplo for his Justin Bieber collaboration on Jack Ü’s “Where Are Ü Now.”
