Over the weekend, Diana Ross hit up West Hollywood gay bar The Abbey with her son Evan and mingled with fans as her new remixes of “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough” played throughout the night.
Abbey owner David Cooley teased her appearance on Instagram and later called it a “magical night.” “Diana Ross gave so much love and energy last night even my dancers couldn’t keep up with her,” he wrote on Instagram. “Amazing and so magical.”
“Let me tell you something. At 73 years old, for my mom to have a song number two on the dance charts and for my mom to enjoy the deliciousness of movement and music at The Abbey. I think is thrilling,” daughter Tracee told ET.
The Supreme’s new remix has been blazing up the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart since it’s hot shot debut in November. It is currently seated at No. 2 with stellar remixes from Eric Kupper, StoneBridge, Joe Gauthreaux and Chris Cox, among others. Revisit Joe Gauthreaux & Leanh’s mix below.
