It has finally happened, and I think we all saw this coming. “Despacito” is the most-streamed song of all time.

Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s hit original song and its remix featuring Justin Bieber have accumulated more than 4.6 billion streams across all platforms since its release in January.

The track, which is currently No. 1 in the U.S., U.K. and Australia, surpassed the previous record holder, Justin Bieber’s “Sorry,” which has clocked up more than 4.38 billion combined plays.

Most of those plays — 2.6 billion of them — were generated on YouTube from views of the original version’s music video, which is the third-most watched video in the site’s history.

This news also comes shortly after Daddy Yankee was named as the #1 streamed artist on Spotify, having the highest number of monthly listeners on the platform.

Commenting on his record-smashing feat, Luis Fonsi said: “Streaming is a connector for audiences worldwide and it has helped my music reach every corner of the planet. It is truly an honor that ‘Despacito’ is now the most streamed song in history.”

These three are on fire lately and we can’t wait to see what they come up with next.
