Demi Lovato has decided to take a break from social media.
After her recent bout with Mariah Carey, Demi Lovato has decided to call it a day on her two largest digital platforms–Twitter and Instagram. Yesterday evening (June 20) the former Disney star tweeted she would be shutting down both of her accounts after revealing that sometimes her mouth gets the better of her.
Damn I gotta quit sayin shit. Bye Twitter 🖕🏻👍🏼😂

Watch Mariah Carey and Jimmy Kimmel drink champagne together in a bathtub.
Turning the other cheek, Lovato now prefers the more recent platform Snapchat as it doesn’t provide users with the ability to bombard one’s profile with nasty comments. Super fans stormed the 23-year-old singer’s social media after she threw shade at Carey. The singer clarified that while she does not doubt Mariah’s talent, she could brush up on her manners:
“This is why I posted what I did…The woman is mean for no reason. Extremely talented? Yes. Superhuman? Possibly. Unnecessarily rude? Absolutely.”
I like snapchat cause I don’t have to see what some of y’all say. Follow me if you want: theddlovato 👋🏼

So that’s all for now. These are the last posts on her official page, although both it and her Instagram are still up (but remain inactive.) We’re not sure if that means she’s coming back or not, but for now, we’ll see you on Snapchat, Demi.
