As she continues to address her personal challenges Demi Lovato is starting 2021 off right by recording new music.
According to her manager Scooter Braun, who sent out a tweet on Saturday (January 2nd), “Demi is in the studio,” followed by the suspicious eyes emoji. Lovato doubled down on the hype by sharing the message to her Instagram story the next day, writing, “Phone rings – Scooter’s calling Me: Hey can’t talk in the booth. @Scooterbraun:” on top of her screenshot of his announcement with the sideways laughing emojis.
Lovato is coming off of a solid 2020 that started with the debut performance of her single “Anyone” during last year’s 63rd Grammy Awards in January. The pop star later performed the national anthem at Super Bowl LIV in February (which she predicted she’d do 10 years earlier) and in March, she released the self-love anthem “I Love Me,” that peaked at #18 on the Billboard Hot 100.
