Demi Lovato Confirms Ariana Grande Collaboration

Following hints that a song between powerhouse singers Demi Lovato and Ariana Grande was in the works, fans now have confirmation that the collaboration is en route.

In an interview with The New York Times ahead of her YouTube Originals documentary Dancing With the Devil that opened up SXSW on Tuesday (March 16th), the embattled singer/songwriter confirmed that her collab with Grande was one of the last-minute editions to her upcoming album Dancing With the Devil…The Art of Starting Over (due April 2nd). Rumors of a potential music alliance started when Ariana posted a video of her vocals via Instagram with the caption “backgrounds on a song for a friend,” which Demi reposted with a series of six sneaky-eye emojis.

As for her forthcoming full length, the Island Records artist confirmed that Dancing With the Devil…The Art of Starting Over would contain 17 songs and three bonus tracks that will feature a blend of country, soul and ’90s pop. The new release serves as the companion album to her Dancing With the Devil documentary as well as the long-awaited follow-up to her last album Tell Me You Love Me (2017.)
