The singer was scheduled to appear in Mexico in September and in South America in November, but announced Thursday that she would not perform those shows.

Over the weekend, Lovato checked out of the hospital she was rushed to on July 24th (concluding a two-plus week stay), and wrote a lengthy letter to her supporters assuring them that she is still committed to being sober. She revealed recently through her single “Sober” that she was no longer so, and apologized for breaking her promise to herself and fans.
