The Recording Academy announced today that Daft Punk and the Weeknd will perform together at the 59th Annual Grammy Awards on February 12th. The last time Daft Punk played live was at the 2014 Grammy awards where they performed “Get Lucky” with Pharrell, Stevie Wonder and Nile Rodgers after the 2013 release of Random Access Memories.

Though they haven’t played for three years and haven’t released an album in almost four, the duo of Thomas Bangalter and Guy-Manuel de Homem-Christo have not lost their touch as they recently worked with The Weeknd on “I Feel it Coming” as well as the title track from Starboy to create amazing bookend tracks to the entire album.

As a result of their collaboration, the “Get Lucky” producers are teaming up with The Weeknd at the Grammys for what is sure to be a smashing live performance that will be broadcast live from Los Angeles’ Staples Center at 8 p.m. Eastern on February 12 on CBS.

It’s the 10-year anniversary of their iconic Alive 2007 tour, is Daft Punk signaling a new album or tour? I sure hope so.
