After 15 years in existence, Dirtybird is getting a birthday present in the form of an album from head honcho Claude Vonstroke.

His fourth artist album and sixth full-length project, the 48-year-old’s effort titled Freaks & Beaks, is described as a product of “quirky innovation and a relentless pursuit of something new and fresh.”

The producer approached Freaks & Beaks with a process consisting of mandatory daily creative exercises, experimentation with new gear, and a willingness to make a “huge amount” of 130 sketches that were ultimately whittled down to 11 for the final collection.

What started out as a humble little party in San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park has turned into a full-on brand and record label that has regular events across the United States. This album is for all the fans who’ve been there since day one. Check it out below.
