Police arrested Chris Brown Tuesday night after a lengthy standoff between the two. LAPD received a call around 3 a.m. from Baylee Curran who claimed the rapper held her at gunpoint. The LA Times report that Brown invited her to his house to talk about future projects. But things took a strange turn when an individual presented them with diamond jewelry.
“I don’t know if it was Chris’ friend or how he was related, but that’s when he told me to back away from the diamond necklace and started cussing me out and calling me names,” Curran said. “That’s when Chris pulled his gun and told me to ‘Get out,’ he said. ‘I’m sick of you girls, get the — out!’”
When authorities arrived at his home in Tarzana, California, Brown refused to come out. Instead, he posted a string of now-deleted Instagrams in which he claims “fuck the police” and called them “the worst gang int he world.”
The 12 hour stalemate ended after police, accompanied by Brown’s attorney Mark Geragos, attained a search warrant. The rapper complied with authorities, and no conflict ensued. Geragos calls the allegations “demonstrably false.”
Thanks to everyone for their support and well wishes. Chris is out and well. The allegations against him are demonstrably false #TeamBreezy
