Calvin Harris is taking another run at the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart with the revamp of his 2009 original “I’m Not Alone.” The Ultra/Columbia Records released track that moves from #14* to #9*, follows the Scottish deejay/remixer/producer/artist’s recent survey-topping #1* efforts “One Kiss” featuring Dua Lipa, “Promises” featuring Sam Smith, and March’s “Giant” with Rag ‘N’ Bone Man.

The Grammy winning musician took his decade-old classic and updated it for contemporary audiences by accentuating the instrumentals and pulling back the lyrics to just include “If I see a light flashing, could this mean that I’m coming home?/If I see a man waving, does this mean that I’m not alone?” These changes result in a more dance floor ready than radio-friendly style.

Harris’s re-release of “I’m Not Alone” arrived courtesy of his own remix slant followed by additional Camelphat versions and Thomas Schumacher has also put his own spin on the 2009 drop ranging from Progressive to Acid vibes. Listen to the 2019 edition of “I’m Not Alone” below.
