Calvin Harris has finally spoken to the media since his car crash

Last week, Calvin Harris was involved in a car crash in Los Angeles and subsequently hospitalized, resulting in the cancellation of four shows in total. That same day, representatives of Harris, whose real name is Adam Wiles, posted an announcement on his official Facebook page, stating that “Adam is still recovering from the injuries sustained in the car accident last Friday.” The message went on to read that “Unfortunately, as a result he will not be able to perform in Las Vegas at Hakkasan tonight, 5/26 and Omnia tomorrow, 5/27. He has asked us to pass on his apologies to everyone who was due to attend the shows and hopes to be back to his normal schedule soon.”

However, the DJ feels incredibly lucky to have survived the accident and expressed his gratitude on Twitter last night. He even apologizes directly to his fans for having cancelled his upcoming shows, which included last night’s show in Las Vegas (May 26) along with tonight’s concert in Omnia (May 27). We’re just glad he’s doing ok.
