This week, BTS continues their Tonight Show Takeover by digging deep into their catalog for some classics and fan favorites.

On Monday night, RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook stepped onto Jimmy Fallon’s floor and in front of a temple for a dynamic rendition of the 2018 release “Idol.” The late-night host hyped it as “an original, never seen before performance,” and the excitement wasn’t lost on viewers as BTS immediately trended on social media.

In addition to the throwback tune, BTS performed their recent hit “Dynamite” accompanied by members of the Roots. The seven-some were isolated in colorful boxes Brady Bunch-style while members of the the Tonight Show band beatboxed and host Jimmy Fallon added percussion with ping-pong paddles.

This week-long effort is all part of the build up to the release of BE (Deluxe Edition), the follow-up to 2020’s Map of the Soul: 7, slated to drop on November 20th.
