As the latest preview of The Boss’ forthcoming October 23 album, Letter To You, Bruce Springsteen releases “Ghosts.”

With lyrics that reflect a year unlike any other, the Columbia Records title echoes profound sentiments as it touches on the “beauty and joy of being in a band and the pain of losing one another to illness and time,” said Springsteen said of his new track. Backed by his signature rock rhythm of guitar, drums and thunderous bass, Bruce’s classic raspy vocal soars with somber lyrical content. Listen to “Ghosts” via its official lyric video.

Letter To You is the first Springsteen album to feature the legendary E Street Band since 2014’s High Hopes. “I love the emotional nature of Letter To You,” The Boss said of the new full length. “And I love the sound of the E Street Band playing completely live in the studio, in a way we’ve never done before, and with no overdubs. We made the album in only five days, and it turned out to be one of the greatest recording experiences I’ve ever had.”
