With a catalog steeped in hits, Britney Spears has just released a new single, with only one way to hear it.
The never-before-heard title is exclusively available in 12″ vinyl single format via Urban Outfitters, which celebrated 11/11 Singles Day by dropping Spears’ new tune, “Swimming In the Stars,” along with 10 more songs as UO Exclusive Singles. For (her) fans who are not vinyl-friendly or don’t have a record player, the track will also be made available on streaming services and elsewhere online in two weeks time and the physical single won’t ship ’til January 15th.
Other songs being pressed onto vinyl for the special occasion (some for the first time ever) include Billie Eilish‘s “Everything I Wanted,” Demi Lovato‘s “I Love Me” and “Still Have Me,” Doja Cat’s “Freak,” Fifth Harmony’s “Work From Home,” Joji’s “Gimme Love,” Jonas Brothers’ “X,” Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl (MTV Unplugged Version),” Megan Thee Stallion’s “Savage,” feat. Beyoncé, Shawn Mendes’ “Wonder,” and Wallows’ “OK.”
The news of her previously unreleased comes one day after Spears’ attorney said in court that the 38-year-old pop star “will not perform again” if her father, Jamie Spears, continues to control her life and career as part of the conservatorship put in place since 2008.
