Britney Spears is finally putting an end to the rumours.
In a new Israeli interview ahead of her July 3 show in Tel Aviv, the 35-year-old singer was asked about how much she relies on her backtrack during performances and this was her response:
“It’s really funny: A lot of people think I don’t sing live…. Because I’m dancing so much, I do have a little bit of playback, but there’s a mixture of my voice and the playback. It really pisses me off because I’m busting my ass out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever gives me credit for it, you know?”
These lip-syncing rumours flared up in the beginning of June after a show in Tokyo when the singer accidentally got her microphone caught in her hair. While she tried to untangle the mic, her vocals remained audible.
